Ant Traps and Mini Golf

Soooo....the Posadas were all set for a fun day at the Philadelphia Zoo. The camera battery was dead, so we decided to grab lunch at the Pop Shop in Collingswood (sooo good!) then run home to get the camera before venturing to the zoo.

We get in the door and there are pieces of black plastic everywhere. Austin had eaten 2 ant traps while we were out! We called the animal hospital and decided to watch him for a bit before bringing him in. Throughout the day, Austin got lots of water, treats (they have charcol in them) and some brown rice. Needless to say, we ended up not going to the zoo.... :(

We decided to play some mini golf and after a tough competition, Krista was the winner (by 1 stroke...it would have been more but Alex out shot her 6-3 on one of the last holes).

Austin seems to be fine, but it was a lesson learned. We learned that ant traps have peanut butter in them, so dogs often get into them. Dog owners beware!
